Whether you are seeking a little relaxation or a challenging workout, Pismo Beach Athletic Club (PBAC) offers a large, well-equipped facility with a friendly, professional atmosphere. 

We are proud to offer:

– 25-yard, heated, indoor pool 

– Spa, Steam Room, Sauna

– Group Fitness

– Well-equipped fitness floor & cardio room

– Pickleball, Racquetball, Badminton and Table Tennis

A variety of the latest classes are offered every day of the week, to fit even the most demanding schedules. We also offer SilverSneakers, Personal Trainers and Flexible Membership Options.

🌟 Meet Our Instructor 🌟

Kim McGuire has been teaching senior exercise and Pilates for 18 years. Her training also includes a certification from the National Arthritis Foundation, which helps her choreograph every class with care.

With a previous career in marketing and public relations, Kim is now a freelance writer with over ten humorous essays published in various Chicken Soup for the Soul books. In her free time, you may find her out on the golf course or volunteering at the local animal shelter as a cat whisperer.

Join Kim every Friday at Noon for SilverSneakers Classic!  This chair based class uses bands, balls and weights to improve strength, flexibility & balance.  This class is open to all members—You DO NOT need to be a SilverSneakers member to take any of the SilverSneaker classes.

We are thrilled to introduce the latest addition to PBAC - new strength equipment in the weight room! These upgrades, featuring all-new Matrix strength training machines, free weights, functional trainers, and hip/glute thrust machines, are designed to enhance your workout experience and help you achieve your fitness goals.

The entire second floor, including all group fitness classes on the second level, will be closed between August 12 and 18.

The first floor will remain open, including the cardio room, cycle studio, lap pool, steam room, sauna, spa, locker rooms, racquetball, and pickleball. All group fitness classes on the first level (Cycle & Aqua Aerobics) will remain open.

If you do not plan on using the 1st-floor facilities, PBAC will allow members to freeze their memberships for one week. To do so, please submit your freeze request in writing before August 12. Email the club at info@pbac.com or stop by the front desk to submit your request. We want to make this process as easy as possible for you.

Nikki Pool has been in the fitness industry for 31 years. She is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Certified Nutrition Coach and a 200 Hour Certified Yoga Instructor. She carries multiple specializations including Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, and Stretching and Flexibility Coach. She is also a certified TRX and Cycle.

It has been an incredible journey allowing her the ability to not only be fortunate enough to help people be as fit as possible but also has afforded her cherished time with her 2 children and husband. When she’s not teaching, you can catch her in the weight room, running the trails and the beach or possibly sweating it out in the dry sauna.

Catch Nikki on Monday Mornings for Cycle at 9:15, TRX at 10:30 and Yoga Level 1 at 11:45.
